Keith Collins is an advanced cardiac sonographer and educator in Chicago. After previous leadership roles at the University of Chicago and Northwestern Medicine, Keith is currently splitting his time between research and clinical duties. He is a research sonographer at Northwestern University Echo Core Lab, led by Dr. Sanjiv Shah, evaluating AI applications in heart failure. He also scans patients as a cardiac sonographer 4 at Rush Oak Park Hospital.

An active member of ASE for over 25 years, Keith has served on a variety of committees and task forces in many leadership roles. He served on the Board of Directors three times, first as a member-at-large, then as Sonographer Council Chair during the COVID era and most recently as a member of the Executive Committee as Council Representative. Keith was fortunate to travel to China and Vietnam with outstanding teams of ASE sonographer and physicians on ASE Foundation-sponsored global outreach events. Currently, Keith is excited to join the ASE Foundation Board of Directors as a member-at-large. Keith continues to advocate for sonographers and all echo users in the unique partnership we share with physicians to provide the highest quality cardiac care for our patients.
