ASE Foundation is excited to announce that we’re adding Spanish-language webinars to our repertoire of translated guideline materials. ASE Founder, Dr. Harvey Feigenbaum receives Indiana University President’s Medal

Dr. Feigenbaum was presented with the President’s Medal for Excellence on Monday evening. An Indiana University faculty member since 1962, Feigenbaum has been the leading scientist for decades in echocardiography, the most widely used imaging technique for diagnosing cardiovascular disease, which is the leading cause of death in the U.S. Read more about how he pioneered the way for echocardiography and his many accomplishments in the field of medicine here.

ASE Foundation Plans to Set Portland Aglow

The American Society of Echocardiography Education and Research Foundation (ASE Foundation) will host the Heeling Hearts 5K Glow Walk/Run on Friday, June 20, in downtown Portland. Participants will set the waterfront aglow, starting and finishing at the Portland World Trade Center, an iconic Portland meeting place that overlooks the Willamette River. Read the story here.

Officer and Board of Directors Slate for 2014

Please vote for the 2014 Slate of Officers and Directors using this ballot. You may only vote for one person for each position. However, you may write in additional nominees in the blank spaces instead of the person nominated.  All write-in nominees must be active ASE members. The new officers and directors will be inducted at the ASE Annual Business Meeting in Portland, OR, on Sunday morning, June 22, 2014. This session is open to all Scientific Sessions registrants. Your ballot must be received by June 1, 2014. Don’t forget to register for the 25th Annual Scientific Sessions.

IAC letters & Testamur status
