Thank You! AUS Bushfire Fundraiser Recap

ASE members show #ASECares.

Contributions made towards the ASE Foundation’s Australian Bushfire Fundraiser have allowed us to donate $3,205 to the Astralasian Sonographers Association (ASA). These funds will be used to provide travel and attendance support for individuals from bushfire affected postal codes so they may attend the upcoming annual ASA conference in May 2020 free of charge.

Call for Volunteers: 2020 Global Health Events

The ASE Foundation is now accepting volunteer applications for two global health outreach opportunities. Teams will be working in St. George, Grenada and Northern Vietnam in the spring of 2020. Both physician and sonographer team members are needed. Event details and volunteer application can be found at asefoundation.org/volunteer.

All applications are due by Friday, February 7.

Australian Bushfire Fundraiser

The ASE Foundation has pledged $1,000 to support those in bushfire affected regions to attend the Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA) 2020 conference in May. We will match an additional $1,000 in donations received. Please join us in showing #ASECares by supporting our colleagues in Australia.

Contributions will be accepted until January 31, 2020. 100% of all funds raised will be donated to the Australasian Sonographers Association.

‘Donate a Cup’ for National Coffee Day: 9/28-9/30

National Coffee Day is September 29th and the ASE Foundation has set a goal to raise $2,500 between 9/28 – 9/30. #BoostASEF with a donation over this weekend and when you do, be sure to post it on social media. Tag @ASE360 and use #GaveACup to share that you’ve donated! We want to see your pictures whether you’re sipping on a cup of coffee at home, at the echo lab, or with your favorite barista and a local shop.

By the way… making a donation this weekend will be VERY simple. We’ve made a special web page so you won’t have to leave our website. It will go live on September 28th and it’ll take you less time to donate than it does to order your grande double shot no foam soy latte ?

Book Signing @ #ASE2019

The ASE Foundation is proud to host New York Times Bestselling author, Barbara Natterson-Horowitz, MD for a signing event of her book, Zoobiquity: The Astonishing Connection Between Human and Animal Health.

Dr. Natterson-Horowitz is this year’s inaugural Gardin Lecturer and is presenting during the Echo Technology at the Cutting Edge of Knowledge session on Sunday, June 23rd. After her lecture she will be at the ASEF Booth from 2:45 – 3:30 PM, signing copies of her best-selling book. The only way to ensure a book will be waiting for you in Portland is to pre-order your copy by Tuesday, May 28th on ASE Marketplace. 100% of the $25 purchase is treated as a tax-deductible donation to the ASE Foundation. Only a very limited number of copies will be available for purchase on site.

Thank You For Supporting ASEF on Spring Giving Day 2019!

ASEF welcomed the first day of Spring by holding our fourth annual Spring Giving Day and thanks to 24 incredible donors, it was a huge success! In just 24 hours we raised $5,668, surpassing our $5,000 goal.

We extend a special thank you to David Rubenson, MD, FASE, who made an early pledge of $1,000.

Gifts received on Spring Giving Day will foster the future of echocardiography by supporting scholarships and travel grants to young professionals in the field. Each and every gift made to the ASE Foundation makes a difference in the projects you support and the people you help. 100% of all giving is allocated to charitable projects.

If you missed this opportunity, it is not too late to support the Annual Appeal. Log onto the ASE Portal and click the ASE Foundation tab at the top right to donate today!
